Friday Notes, 9-25-2020

Thank you for all of your help with the start of NWEA testing for Fall, 2020 at Parkwood-Upjohn. Your assistance with technology and reinforcement of the importance of students testing independently is helping us gather the most accurate data possible. The NWEA data we collect on a triennial basis helps us create unique, meaningful programming for each student at Parkwood-Upjohn. Attached here is an informative video from Dr. Lindsay Noakes, Coordinator of Assessment and Evaluation at KPS, that may help with NWEA testing at home. As always, your child’s teacher is the best, first resource for helping with student testing.

For families that would like to continue to assist with the Parkwood-Upjohn Book Share, feel free to drop off books at the Parkwood-Upjohn office (2321 S. Park) between 8 AM and 4 PM, Monday through Friday. We are excited to have given out over 200 books in just two weeks and want to keep out the momentum! Thank you for your support.

Please feel free to also check out the Social and Emotional Learning Wrap-Up from Ms. Collins as well as this site offering up-to-date Calvert Learning support. And as always, feel free to reach out to me if I can be of help.

Enjoy the weekend, Panthers!

Mr. Murray
